This morning we had a great group of guys training in Holmdel. Lightweight champion Frankie Edgar and Japanese UFC fighters: Hatsu Hioki, Takeya Mizugaki, Yasuhiro Urushidai, Satoro Kitaoka, Kenichi Ito, Takasuki Kume together with Master Renzo Gracie.

I just got a call from Renzo himself saying that he’ll be teaching class tomorrow. I’m really looking forward to it. Let’s get this mat packed. We’re starting 2012 in great style!!!

Congratulations to Billy Straniero on his well deserved blue belt. Billy is one of our most consistent and dedicated student, next step…. purple.

Congratulations to our students earning stripes on their belts this week. First of the kids Anthony Ennis, Madison and Taylor Brown, John and Gianna D’angelo. And two new graduates from kick start Eddie and Terrin.

This time was Nicolette getting her second stripe and Daniel Valer earning his first one and jumping into the blue belt program, congrats guys and girls.

Friday is great day to review the techniques of the week and make sure that they stay fresh in head or to catch up if you missed a class during the week.

Alan Jacob got his first stripe, graduating from the kick start program. Now he’s ready to follow up his training on the blue belt program. Congrats Alan!
