This Tuesday we had our first class with Dan Miragliotta. Everybody had a blast and if you missed make sure to be there this Thursday 6pm. Dan is taking our striking program to the next level. Our academy now offers high quality training in all areas for you to become a champion or train like one.
We are all aware of the numerous benefits Wrestling has to offer to our games, wether it be Bjj or MMA. Dominant Wrestling often controls the pace of a match, where and how the fight takes place, and gives a distinct advantage to positional control which in turn then allows opportunity for submission.
Since it is such a helpful tool to assist our Jiu Jitsu games, we here at Renzo Gracie Holmdel will be Having Raritan Wrestling and the 2012 Star Ledger State Coach of the Year Coach Nucci hosting a Wrestling Takedown Clinic for us!!! It will be held on Wed May 16 during our 6pm No Gi Class. All are welcome to attend from inside the academy as well as all affiliate academies.
Coach Nucci was named Coach of the Year multiple times and coached his squad to NJ State Champions, 9 times Conference Champions, 3 times District Champions and has an overall coaching career record of 236-75. Needless to say he has lots to offer us and really help improve our games and skill sets. Let’s make sure we make it to class as always but also spread the word of this great opportunity and really get the mats packed!!!!

Awesome class this morning taught by Guest Instructor Karel “Silver Fox” Pravec at the academy!!! Not only did he go over some great techniques but he also covered some really awesome concepts and attacking strategies that really demonstrate the essence of our style what is Renzo Gracie Jiu Jitsu. A huge thanks to Karel again and now it’s time for students to put in the work!!! See you guys on the mats!!!
